"Ieri siamo partiti bene e ho girato in 1'22.9, che oggi sarebbe stato sufficiente per ottenere la terza fila, poi abbiamo perso un po' la strada nella ricerca del set up ideale e forse siamo andati nella direzione sbagliata. Senza voler cercare scuse, in un paio dei miei giri migliori mi sono trovato nel traffico e ho perso del tempo ma, detto questo, quello che conta davvero è che non sono stato abbastanza veloce. Questo è probabilmente il peggior circuito al mondo dove partire quindicesimo quindi mi aspetto una gara molto dura anche se in 30 giri possono succedere molte cose. Devo cercare di trovare un buon ritmo subito e provare a recuperare. Ieri ci sentivamo molto positivi, il feeling con la moto era ottimo ed eravamo davanti ma oggi non è andata bene. So che avrei dovuto fare meglio e chiedo scusa alla squadra, i ragazzi non meritano il quindicesimo tempo e domani cercheremo di fare meglio".
